In 2017, the APA Working Group on Stress and Health Disparities, chaired by Dr. Elizabeth Brondolo, published a report presenting an overview of research examining stress as a driver of disparities in health, and offering recommendations for reducing stress affecting racial/ethnic minority and low socioeconomic status populations.
